Inspired by

Hi Guys

Well this week on Try It On Tuesdays we have been challenged to make a card using inspiration from something/somewhere in our house.

I made my card for my niece whos birthday it is this week.  My inspiration came from the room that I seem to spend the most time in, my craft room.

We have lived in our house for 8 years and have yet to decorate this room but it is nice and bright and sunny.

I used the babywipe technique on Stampin' Up! glossy card to get my background.  To do this you need to fold a babywipe into quarters and then take your reinkers and place dots on the folded edge and then sweep across the card stock.  I used Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.

I used Pocket Silhouettes to add some interest to the left of the card.  My lion has been made by using my punches.  Here is a list of the punches that I used so that you can make your own lion.

Mane      2 scallop circle
Face       1 1/4" circle
Eyes      Googly Eyes
Nose      Large hole from cropodile
Body      Ornament punch
Paws      2 Oval small
Tail        Oval small, oval large and 5 Petal flower punch

To do Beths name I have used the Just Perfect Alphabet, stamping it with Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango and punched out with the 3/4" circle punch.

So why not hop over to Try It On Tuesday and look at what my teamies have been up to.

I hope you like and until next time

Happy Crafting
